Amalia joined Biriș Goran in 2026 as a Tax Consultant. She previously began her career in a reputable “Big 4” consultancy firm, where she gained valuable experience in complex tax advisory projects, with a focus on indirect taxation matters. Her expertise involves tax advisory, including assistance during tax appeals, tax audits & various tax compliance queries, across multiple client industries.

Amalia has obtained her Law Degree from the University of Bucharest, Faculty of Law in 2024, having previously completed in 2023 her double Bachelor’s Degree in Law from Université Paris 1 Panthéon-Sorbonne via Collège Juridique franco-roumain d’études européennes. As of 2025, Amalia holds a Master’s Degree in Tax Law from the University of Bucharest, Faculty of Law, where she approached the treatment of VAT exemptions and its implications for businesses as the main subject of her thesis.

Outside the office, Amalia enjoys travelling, cooking and spending time in nature, especially hiking.
